The Ultimate King Double is our biggest swag: 1500mm wide with a full metre of headroom. It sleeps two adults properly, or gives one person room to spread out with their gear inside. Like the king single, it's a freestanding dome, so it stands up without guy ropes, and it's designed in Australia for touring and 4WD adventure.
Curved 10.2mm aluminium hoop poles at each end and a heavy-duty telescopic spreader bar along the ridge hold the shape. Once it's up you can lift it onto the best patch of ground before pegging. Stainless steel rings at each corner take the supplied pegs on windy nights. A third hoop pole comes in the bag as a spare, so a bent or broken pole is a quick swap rather than the end of your trip.
The mattress is 80mm thick: 30mm of egg-crate comfort foam over 50mm of high-density support foam. The canvas cover zips off for washing.

The Ultimate King Double Swag has 10.2mm curved aluminium hoop poles at each end, shock-corded with elastic so the sections stay together and don't go missing. A heavy-duty telescopic 22/25mm spreader bar along the ridge tensions the end hoops and the two large end rainflys.
Once the end hoops are in place, tension the ridge spreader bar and the whole swag stands on its own, rainflys included.
A spare hoop pole is packed in too, so you're covered if one gets bent or broken a long way from the nearest shop.
The Ultimate King Double Swag has full-length canvas and midge mesh doors on both sides, plus an opening canvas and mesh window at one end. All zips are heavy-duty size 10 YKK, and both side doors have large storm flaps for extra protection from the weather.
A clip-on, dual-skin canvas section for the centre of the swag is included. Use it for extra protection from sun, rain, cold, heat and condensation, or leave it packed inside the swag when you don't need it.
For flow-through ventilation, the Ultimate has mesh windows at the head and foot ends under the rainflys. One of them can be opened and closed from inside, so you don't have to get out if the weather changes overnight.
Inside there are two pockets for small items. Outside, the PVC ground flap gives you somewhere clean to stand once your boots are off.
Our swags use Stockman Brown canvas, chosen for Australian conditions. On the Ultimate it's 420gsm poly-cotton: durable, breathable, rot and mildew resistant, and UV stabilised. The 500gsm Hypa-PVC bucket base is fully waterproof against wet ground.
The Ultimate King Double Swag includes an 80mm mattress: 50mm of high-density foam topped with 30mm of egg-crate foam, in a removable cover you can take off and wash. It keeps you well off the ground for a proper night's sleep.
The Ultimate King Double Swag comes with a heavy-duty PVC carry bag, 1600mm long and 480mm in diameter when packed. The bag is oversized, so packing up is easier and you can leave your bedding inside the swag.
Yes. Set up, it's 2100mm long, 1500mm wide and 1000mm high. Two people can sit up at once, and doors on both sides mean nobody has to climb over anyone to get out at night.

Every Mr Swagman product has a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, such as stitching or a seam coming apart, or a zip, buckle or pole failing in normal use. It starts on the day you receive the product, and it's in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Yes, within 30 days of receiving it, as long as it's unused and in its original packaging. Please contact us first. You pay the return freight, the original shipping cost isn't refunded, and a 5% restocking fee comes off your refund, which we process once the item is back with us and approved for resale. If anything arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, that's different: contact us and we'll sort it out under the Australian Consumer Law, with no restocking fee.
Check the box and the product for damage before you sign for it. If there's any damage, note it with the driver before signing, or refuse the delivery. Without that, we can't claim on the freight insurance.
