Buying guide

An in-car charger means you can arrive at camp with full batteries ready to run your lights, fans and power supplies. Use the Battery platform filter to see only the versions that fit your batteries.

Frequently asked questions

Can I charge with the engine off?

You can, but it draws from your vehicle's battery. Unless you have a dual-battery system, charge while the engine is running so you don't flatten your starting battery.

Will it work in a 24V truck?

Yes. Both chargers run on 12–24V vehicle sockets.

What's the difference between the Auto Charger and the Balanced Auto Charger?

The Auto Charger charges at 2A. The Balanced Auto Charger charges at 3A, so it tops up batteries faster. It's available for Makita, Milwaukee and DeWalt batteries.

How long does a charge take?

It depends on the battery size and how flat it is. Bigger batteries (higher Ah) take longer, and the 3A Balanced Auto Charger is quicker than the 2A Auto Charger.

Are batteries included?

No. Each charger fits the 18–20V batteries of the brand in its name. Use the Battery platform filter to find yours.

How much is delivery and where do you send?

We deliver anywhere in Australia, and shipping is free on orders of $1,500 or more. Below that, it's calculated at checkout from your address and the items in your order. Every delivery includes in-transit insurance, and we send with Australia Post, FedEx or DHL depending on the size and weight of your order.

Can I pick up my order instead?

Yes. Choose Pickup In-Store at checkout and collect your order from our store at 14 Cessna Street, Marcoola, on the Sunshine Coast. It saves the shipping cost.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, for everything except awnings. International shipping is calculated at checkout, not including local import duties and taxes, which the receiver pays. For an overseas quote on an awning, email info@mrswagman.com.au or call +61 (0)7 5302 6954.

What's the warranty?

Every Mr Swagman product has a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, such as stitching or a seam coming apart, or a zip, buckle or pole failing in normal use. It starts on the day you receive the product, and it's in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Yes, within 30 days of receiving it, as long as it's unused and in its original packaging. Please contact us first. You pay the return freight, the original shipping cost isn't refunded, and a 5% restocking fee comes off your refund, which we process once the item is back with us and approved for resale. If anything arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, that's different: contact us and we'll sort it out under the Australian Consumer Law, with no restocking fee.

What should I do when my order arrives?

Check the box and the product for damage before you sign for it. If there's any damage, note it with the driver before signing, or refuse the delivery. Without that, we can't claim on the freight insurance.
