Buying guide

Two ways to power a Starlink Mini when you're off grid. Use the Battery platform filter to see only the versions that fit your batteries.

Tool battery kits

A USB-C adaptor that clips onto your 18V tool battery, plus a 1.5m USB-C to 20V DC cable with a weatherproof plug for the Starlink Mini.

  • USB-C in/out up to 65W (PD3.0, 5V, 9V, 12V and 20V), plus a 5V USB-A port
  • Battery percentage display and low-voltage protection
  • Runs a Starlink Mini for roughly 5 hours from a 12Ah battery
  • Recharge the tool battery through the adaptor's USB-C port from a 65W USB-C car charger or wall charger

Made for DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita, Bosch, Ryobi ONE+ and AEG batteries.

Car kit

A 160W USB-C car charger for 12–24V vehicle sockets, plus the same Starlink Mini cable. Run the Starlink Mini while you drive or at camp from your vehicle's power. The charger's second port can charge a phone at the same time.

Cable only

Already have a 65W (or larger) USB-C PD power source? The Starlink Mini USB-C to DC cable is sold on its own. It has a chip that asks the charger for 20V, which the Starlink Mini needs.

Before you buy

  • Starlink Mini and tool battery not included.
  • Use the supplied cable. The genuine Starlink USB-C cable won't run from these adaptors.
  • For longer runtime, recharge batteries on the drive with an In-Car Battery Charger.

Starlink is a trade mark of Space Exploration Technologies Corp. These kits are made to power a Starlink Mini but are not made, approved or endorsed by Starlink or SpaceX.

Makita, Milwaukee, DeWalt, Bosch, Ryobi, AEG, Ozito, Einhell, HiKOKI and Metabo are trade marks of their respective owners. These are aftermarket products, compatible with those batteries but not made, approved or endorsed by the battery brands.

Frequently asked questions

How long will a tool battery run my Starlink Mini?

Roughly 5 hours from a 12Ah battery. Runtime varies with how hard the Starlink Mini is working and the weather. Carry a second charged battery for longer days.

Can I use the cable that came with my Starlink Mini?

No. Use the cable in the kit. It has a chip that switches the adaptor to 20V, which the Starlink Mini needs. The genuine Starlink USB-C cable won't run from the adaptor.

Can I charge the tool battery through the adaptor?

Yes. The USB-C port works both ways: plug in a 65W (PD3.0, 20V) USB-C car or wall charger to recharge the battery, then use it to power the Starlink Mini off grid.

Will the car kit work in a 24V truck?

Yes. The 160W car charger runs on 12–24V vehicle sockets.

Is this an official Starlink product?

No. These kits are made to power a Starlink Mini but aren't made, approved or endorsed by Starlink or SpaceX.

How much is delivery and where do you send?

We deliver anywhere in Australia. Shipping is calculated at checkout from your address and the items in your order, and every delivery includes in-transit insurance. We send with Australia Post, FedEx or DHL depending on the size and weight of your order.

Can I pick up my order instead?

Yes. Choose Pickup In-Store at checkout and collect your order from our store at 14 Cessna Street, Marcoola, on the Sunshine Coast. It saves the shipping cost.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, for everything except awnings. International shipping is calculated at checkout, not including local import duties and taxes, which the receiver pays. For an overseas quote on an awning, email info@mrswagman.com.au or call +61 (0)7 5302 6954.

What's the warranty?

Every Mr Swagman product has a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, such as stitching or a seam coming apart, or a zip, buckle or pole failing in normal use. It starts on the day you receive the product, and it's in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Yes, within 30 days of receiving it, as long as it's unused and in its original packaging. Please contact us first. You pay the return freight, the original shipping cost isn't refunded, and a 5% restocking fee comes off your refund, which we process once the item is back with us and approved for resale. If anything arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, that's different: contact us and we'll sort it out under the Australian Consumer Law, with no restocking fee.

What should I do when my order arrives?

Check the box and the product for damage before you sign for it. If there's any damage, note it with the driver before signing, or refuse the delivery. Without that, we can't claim on the freight insurance.
