Buying guide

Most of our power supplies have an Anderson (SB50) outlet. These leads connect it to the gear you already own.

Anderson leads

  • SB50 Anderson to 12V socket, 250mm: plug 12V cigarette-plug gear into an Anderson outlet. 12AWG cable.
  • SB50 Anderson to dual SB50 Anderson, 300mm: splits one Anderson outlet into two. 14AWG cable. The total load is still limited by your power supply (15A for the Volt Step Down PRO, 10A for the 18V to 12V Power Supply).
  • 12V plug to SB50 Anderson, 1000mm: run Anderson-plug gear, like a fridge lead, from a vehicle's 12V socket. Fused plug, rated to 30A, but stay within your vehicle socket's rating.

DC cables and adaptors

  • 2.1 × 5.5mm DC male to male, 1500mm: for 12V DC outputs like the one on our USB & 12V Charger. Rated to 10A.
  • Strip of 8 right-angle DC adaptors: converts a 2.1 × 5.5mm DC plug to 3.5 × 1.35, 4.0 × 1.7, 4.8 × 1.7, 5.5 × 2.1, 5.5 × 2.5, 6.3 × 3.0 and 6.0 × 4.4mm. Rated to 8A.

Frequently asked questions

Can I run two things from one Anderson outlet?

Yes, with the Anderson to dual Anderson lead. Keep the combined load within your power supply's limit: 15A for the Volt Step Down PRO, 10A for the 18V to 12V Power Supply.

How do I plug a 12V cigarette-plug device into my power supply?

Use the SB50 Anderson to 12V socket lead. Plug it into the Anderson outlet, then plug your device into the socket.

Which DC adaptor tip do I need?

Check the DC input size on your device (it's often printed near the socket or in the manual). The strip covers the most common sizes, from 3.5 × 1.35mm to 6.3 × 3.0mm.

Can I run my fridge from the car's 12V socket?

Yes, with the 12V plug to Anderson lead, if your fridge has an Anderson plug. Stay within your vehicle socket's rating, and run it with the engine on or from a dual-battery system so you don't flatten your starting battery.

How much is delivery and where do you send?

We deliver anywhere in Australia. Shipping is calculated at checkout from your address and the items in your order, and every delivery includes in-transit insurance. We send with Australia Post, FedEx or DHL depending on the size and weight of your order.

Can I pick up my order instead?

Yes. Choose Pickup In-Store at checkout and collect your order from our store at 14 Cessna Street, Marcoola, on the Sunshine Coast. It saves the shipping cost.

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, for everything except awnings. International shipping is calculated at checkout, not including local import duties and taxes, which the receiver pays. For an overseas quote on an awning, email info@mrswagman.com.au or call +61 (0)7 5302 6954.

What's the warranty?

Every Mr Swagman product has a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects, such as stitching or a seam coming apart, or a zip, buckle or pole failing in normal use. It starts on the day you receive the product, and it's in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

Yes, within 30 days of receiving it, as long as it's unused and in its original packaging. Please contact us first. You pay the return freight, the original shipping cost isn't refunded, and a 5% restocking fee comes off your refund, which we process once the item is back with us and approved for resale. If anything arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, that's different: contact us and we'll sort it out under the Australian Consumer Law, with no restocking fee.

What should I do when my order arrives?

Check the box and the product for damage before you sign for it. If there's any damage, note it with the driver before signing, or refuse the delivery. Without that, we can't claim on the freight insurance.
